Don’t forget Kirkdale’s Christmas Pop Up event is this Saturday 10am – 3.30pm Kirkdale Village (Sydenham SE26 4BB), with the launch party tonight at the Windmill.
There will be 50 (mostly free) Pop Up sessions, including dance, yoga, singing, floral design, creative writing, crowd drumming, Latin dance and hula hooping. There are also plenty of Kids’ Pop Ups including kids’ yoga, story-telling, treasure hunt, cookie decorating, Christmas decoration-making workshops and a Christmas fancy dress competition for kids. The winner will be judged by none other than Santa himself at 3.00pm.
Going along? With more than 50 Pop Ups, you WILL need the latest programme which can be downloaded from their website, kirkdalepopup.here-there.net. Not sure where Kirkdale is? Well, it’s just a brisk walk down Dartmouth Road from Forest Hill Station.

It’s on Friday 9 December from 7-9pm at the Windmill Pub Kirkdale (SE26 4BB) and it’s going to be an event like no other: mulled wine and a hog roast as well as crowd drumming, latin dance, puppet theatre and singalongs.
