St Georges Players is a friendly Amateur Dramatic Society, formed in 1934, and presents two full-length productions every year. They welcome Applications for membership from anyone who would like to “tread the boards” or get involved in other tasks, such as set design, scenery construction, lighting, sound, props, prompting, Box Office, costumes, making tea, sweeping the stage and all the other jobs that have to be done by a small, but dedicated drama group. They are especially interested in directors and those interested in directing.

The group meets twice a week for rehearsals as well as holding Quiz Evenings and other social events. Further details can be found on their website (st-georges-players.org.uk).
