A free museum - written in stone. A gift from
Frederick Horniman who made his fortune from importing and selling Horniman
Tea. The Horniman stood out against the Conservative government in remain free
and accessible to the people of South London - especially children for which
the Horniman runs extensive education programmes during term time with special
courses in the school holidays.
