News: Latitude Becomes Aceri

Latitude closed the next

Prominently placed on London Road - Latitude was the establish Forest Hill Thai House. A favourite for many though the service and food could be very variable - it came as shock to see it closed one week in May.

Would it stay shut? Would it become yet another pound Shop?

We heard banging so we dipped under the guard to investigate. Two mad Italians were rushing around. We stopped them for a couple of minutes to discover Latitude was reopening as 'Aceri' (Maple in Italian) as a pizzeria. And opening the following Saturday!

We wish them luck. This is their first venture in Forest Hill after moving down from Hendon. The restaurant is much larger than it looks going back a far way with room for maybe upto 100 covers. Or more hopefully less if the guys are succesful in their plans to bring some live music to the venue.
